Report on mining at White Rock Lode, Colorado, 1873 May 19-20.

Report addressed to Longdon & Hillis, recent purchasers of the White Rock Lode, written in manuscript in an unidentified hand and signed by Jacob F. L. Schirmer, superintendent of the United States Mint, Denver, Colorado. The report describes the location of the White Rock Lode in Boulder County, Colorado; lists results of assays of ore made at the United States Mint in Denver; and discusses present mining operations and capacity for future yield. The report refers to an accompanying map, which is not present. Appended is a note written and signed by A. B. Davis, 1873 May 20, concurring with the report and attesting to ownership of title by Jackson Longdon and Joseph Hillis.
